How to select AF point w/o having to press AF button first on Canon 6D

Somewhere online, I saw a way to set the AF selection as a priority w/o having to press the AF button first (in the upper right hand corner) each time you want to select a point.

I want to be able to just select an AF point right away w/o having to look up from my camera to press the AF button first as that gets extremely frustrating and results in some missed shots.

Please tell me someone knows how to to do this?

Menu button
C.FN III Operation/other
C.Fn 5
The last one is multi controller
make sure it is set to AF point direct selection
