Yup got that look often,especially from the birders!
Actually the killdeer shots were taken from a Kayak.best way to get close to the birds without spooking them,and it provides a nice low angle.
The killdeer was about 15-20 ft away,and it decided to have a bath right in front of me,so very relaxed,and not at all concerned with me!
Looking into buying a good inflatable yak ( 2 seater ) for Ish and 1, as I sold my hardshells.that way we can take it everywhere with us!
