Ah, northern Idaho. Brings back memories. I was there rockhounding in the early 1970s. The only place where I could walk into a bar and the other guys were wearing six-shooters.

From a recent shoot. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Both of them I would crop. On the top one, I would crop off the building on the right which draws attention from the girl. On the bottom one, I would crop heavily on the top and on the left, leaving only the girl and the tree trunk and most of the roots, which are the interesting parts. On the top one I would also try to reduce the overexposure of the girl so that she would stand out more clearly from the sky, and darken the rightmost tree trunk so that the right side wouldn't be left too weak.. On the bottom one I would add contrast to liven things up.
