Caught this article (external link) this morning on CR. Specs look interesting. Not sure it's a game changer for me yet. Then again it's still a rumor, right?

TBH, it's really sad to see that the d750 kicked the 5DIII out of the ballpark for QUITE SOME TIME. Nothing innovative from Canon.. 4k Video, great, but no focus peaking I'm assuming? I'd rather get the a7s.

AF is fine on the 5DIII, but sure I'll take it. Don't think it'll warrant for me to upgrade though, unless I'm seeing some crazy better DR performance and ISO sensitivity.

Y'all know that it's only a CR1 which basically means that someone heard it from a friend of a friend who overheard a salesperson at Bestbuy who knew a guy that talked to a Canon rep and they said.... ;););)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

It wasn't Bestbuy, it was Staples, and it wasn't a guy that talked to a Canon rep, it was the guy's cousin who talked to someone looking at HP printers and the subject came up...so you KNOW it's got cred...;-)a;-)a;-)a :p

But has anybody heard it from someone who stayed at a Holiday Inn Express? If so it has to be true!

I e-mailed Canon about the new camera, if there is one, when will it be here, etc.? They don't tell until the announcement. Mouths shut. Sad.
