Good taste big boss :p

Im really shocked by what i read here. I do honestly hope that his reputation will get so bad that he never gets the oppirtunity again to shoot even a small portrait session. People like these deserve a bucket loaded with something that comes out of a cow.

I remember when I first started nearly 5 years ago I commented on this guys images who I still think are amazing to this day. My images were honestly so bad but that person I would consider a pro commented on my photos and gave advice and inspiring words.

If he had given that guy some kind tips on how he can improve, people would have liked him. If he had shut that guy down by giving an honest but harsh critque about his work, people might say he's harch but agree with what he said. Instead he made himself look stuck up and like a complete @**#0!e.

Also his images are nice, but certainly not unique. I know of a lot of photographers on 500px who have that exact same style.

I don't normally wish for the failures of others....but he needs a slice of humble pie for sure.

There are several pages to this post, and I'll go back and read them, but my gut tells me (after reading much of the Facebook page fiasco) that alcohol may have played a part.

Alcohol and social media are not a good combination (if that's what happened here).

Yikes.

Perhaps.
But it is not just one instance of him being horribly cruel to someone.

If you read thru all of the info and read all of the links and watch all of the videos, you will find that he has spoken like this to a lot of people over a lot of years. Sure, he cold have gotten drunk dozens of times and hence had dozens of instances where he verbally abused someone, but if that is the case then it is certainly not excusable. Alcohol might be an excuse for a single instance in which someone acts out of character, but it is apparent that the type of abuse he dished out was, in deed, not out of character at all.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I totally agree with you 100%.

I wasn't trying to excuse his behavior, but was making an observation. I just can't fathom someone making those kind of comments unless he was...

1. An angry person with a lot of unresolved conflict.

2. Very drunk.

He really messed up. I hope he has a lot in savings because his income level might take a huge drop after this.

wow, i just hit that Resource Magazine link from the PetaPixel article and watched the locals news video on him ... he is much worse than I imagined yesterday. His posts to F-Stoppers were totally unhinged. Beginning to wonder if he is mentally ill.

EOS-Mike, in one of the screen grabs Jake says that he's been sober for 5 years.

I noticed that as well, and it made me wonder if he fell off the wagon. That kind of rage just seems unlikely from someone sober, in my opinion.

The guy is obviously mentally ill. People of sound mind wouldn't act like he has.

I feel sorry for him and hope that he isn't pushed to suicide.
