Anyways, I noticed Profoto has much more light modifiers and they are much more expensive. My question is does the light quality improve with different brands? Your buff gear has a built in speedring that uses the AB or balcor mount. So it wont work. You might chamge speedrings but if your buff gear is the folding stuff then it wont work. As for better, most softboxes or octoboxes of the same size are going to be fairly similar.
