With my Canon G15, if I am in Aperture Priority, and I press the * button to get the exposure, turning the front wheel changes the aperture while the exposure shown on the screen changes, or turning the compensation wheel changes the compensation while the exposure shown on the screen changes. But when I press the back wheel toggle up for ISO and then change the ISO, the exposure disappears. And when I select my ISO. I am back at a blank screen and have to meter again. Is there a way to change the ISO while watching the exposure settings change? I feel like in Av the back wheel should be ISO all the time.

With my G15 is there a way to adjust ISO while the exposure is live on the screen?

Does the G12 ISO wheel work that way?

Does the G5X front control wheel when assigned to ISO work that way?
