What do you guys think?

Hey, I took this photo in Santiago de Cuba last month and I like it a lot. I would like to know your opinion, as I am fairly new to street photography.

Interesting image, a lot going on. I'd consider cropping a bit from the top, maybe taking out the street lamps, and cropping a lot from the left so that the cool car is at the far left.

I'm thinking a much tighter crop, essentially leaving the upper centre - car in bottom left, boy/telegraph pole bottom right. The kids playing in the street seems to me to be the strongest subject in this image.

Keep it just the way it is. It is an excellent example of an image that doesn't have just one subject but has multiple points of interest.

The car is what first attracts you. Lovely colour and interesting old car but your eye moves on. The road is the brightest part of the image so it attracts the eye and leads it into the image where you see the people standing in the street and onward to the kids playing - almost as if they are amounts the chaos of the cable and wires hanging above them. Only after you have taken this all in does your eye drift back down the image and you see the woman at the very front poised to go through the door.

Totally agree with what Dan said about your image, but...
I'm an old norteamericano that remembers the old Batista/mafia controlled Cuba of eons ago...
your image illustrates that the living conditions are still wanting.

I think it is great, and I wouldn't change a thing.

I really like the fact that it displays the dangerous wiring situation. I had once read that Cubans often took to doing wiring for themselves to supply power to their homes, and I think this image may support that.
