I've always wanted to do street photography but haven't been able to muster the courage. The Renaissance Festival gave me a chance to take pictures of strangers that were less likely to be upset about it. I really like this photo and would like any CC on it, thanks!

I think that this is a pretty solid image.

She is the definite subject, brighter then the back ground. Good focus and colors.

Confidence comes with practice. Just keep shooting!

The fairs can indeed provide good photo ops!

It's a good shot and the subject has lots of character. See how she's leaning at an angle? Here's a suggestion. Crop the image a bit from the right (and bottom) so that her head is more to the right and the bottom of the frame comes about to her belt. Put her left elbow just inside the edge of the frame. That will emphasize her diagonal posture and make the whole image more dynamic.

Oh no! Before you know it, you'll be seeing interesting people on real streets, and asking them if you can take their picture. :D

Looks great! It's a street shot, nicely done. The 85 f/1.8 is quick focussing, and at f/2 you got a very nice DoF. It's nice and warm, you got nice light, you have a nice background. What's not to love?! Keep up the Good Work!
