I don't know Egrets so cannot say what kind, obviously a striking bird.
This one imaged at Gatorland and while not close enough to touch he/she was
within 20 feet of me-

Thank you all and thank goodness I had my mFT with me. I was carrying long glass for the tower and BIFing, there
would have been no way with the long stuff but the Lumix had a 35-70mm which turned out perfect (it's 35mm equiv=70-200).
That will be a lesson to always have the smaller/lighter with different focal length on me.
