At the Frog Pond today

I had heard about this male Wood Duck that hangs around a place called The Frog Pond in Halifax. He also has a honey, and is seldom more than 2 or 3 feet away from her, but she's not a female Wood Duck, she's a female Black Duck! They're a cute couple, but he really stands out....

I think they do Bob, someone on our Birding site said Wood ducks cross with many different breeds This guy is actually very young, just received his final adult colours recently. Pics of him in November still had him in juvie colours.
