HI
To me they would have a little more impact if converted to black and white, I also think they look a little haphazzard and rushed. I do not know what the subject is in each picture or what you are trying to tell me?
Keep going though with anything you just need to head out a find your own style. try getting into the street more and into a person more rather than trying to capture too much information and end up having little

good luck

You seemed to have cut people in half and the shots seem noisy despite the bright light.

For me they lack composition, or a story.

Consider rotating your shots to level, view them and try to judge the point of interest, then maybe choose a slanting presentation ...

I think this shows a lot of promise. The place is intriguing and you do have a lot of interesting subjects. I would suggest that in every picture, you should have a point of interest that draws the eye. It doesn't matter if the background is busy as oftentimes in street photography that can't be helped. I also agree with others that this might take on a different feel if it were in black and white. Bump up the contrast a bit too.

Keep at it, take lots of pictures! Welcome to the forum. Where are you from?

Hi all

Thanks for all the great feedback, I have alot to learn so keep it coming!
I will experiment more with color, B&W and rotating, and take lots more pictures,
lets see what happens.
Pictures were taken in the Manila area, Philippines, busy place.
The ISO was only 100 or 200, but my camera is the S2 IS king of noise,
but its all i have.

:)

Keep on takimg those pictures! Try underexposing them a bit, around 2/3 stop. Where in Manila is this, Quiapo area? Kamusta?

You have the start of an interesting series....just a start...don't get over/under confident...your still exploring....a few are on the right track....

the 1st and second are misses...the 3rd is starting to work...the woman in the foreground and the person in the window....against the people on the right side of the frame....starting to show direction...

and then the same thing in the 4th....the 2 in the foreground against the 2 in the background...see the arm/hand action.....

keep exploring and posting....look for these relationships....you have the scene, now you just need the punch.........I'll keep watchin'....don

I think the third picture is your strongest. One thing I would do is rotate it, everything looks tilted to the side. The others dont really do anything for me.

Hi

Bottombracket, I'm fine, thanks. So you're Filipino, thats cool.
The shots were taken along EDSA avenue; by Manila area, I meant Metro Manila. i going to Quiapo sometime, that place is really chaotic, good place to take photos

Streetshooter, I see what you mean with the relationships in the photos, thanks alot for the tips and encouragement.
