This is a jpg shot at very low light, ISO 1600, 1/60th of a second, f/4. In order to have the shutter speed that fast, the shot out of the camera was underexposed by 2 stops. I brought it into LR and brightened it up a bit, and applied a tiny bit of NR. Not bad, right?

My daughter Amanda with the A6300 and the 50mm 1.8 -I love how sharp that lens is! I'm going to miss it when I switch to FF!

Fantastic shot MM. Even at an equivelent of 450mm, that hawk allowed you to get very close for that shot.

Thanks so much Gene. That is the hawk that comes to the back almost daily to get free meat, process approved by my state authorities and the ornithologist
at the local University. We call him Harry :)

So a model I used to shoot asked me to shoot a production she was in. Last night was the dress rehearsal. It's in the basement of an art center, light was terrible and I had to shoot at iso3200 and iso4000 just to be usable.
All images shot w/ either the 18-70/4 or 70-200/4.
For the lighting available, not to bad. I ended up w/ 457 images (1 battery used) and I kept 350 for them.
Shooting the first show tonight.
