What I'd do is rotate it a bit so that the vertical lines in the frame are, well, vertical (this will crop the image, though; I'd make sure the crop doesn't give the dog a nail clipping), and apply a vignette so that the emphasis is on the dog, because as it is now, all the bright areas are mighty distracting.
