This is an object I have not seen posted in a very log time . M57 , the Ring Nebulae . This is found in the Summer Triangle in the constellation Lyra . This was taken with my first digital Canon D300 . Capturing the two main stars inside the ring is very exciting ! This is another DSO that only a telescope gives satisfaction to viewing this nebulae . Enjoy !

I have yet to see if I can get that one with a dslr and a 400mm lens

A picture is worth 1000 words ;)
Canon 5D3, 6D, 700D, a bunch of lenses and other bits, ohhh and some Pentax stuff ;)

Good luck with a 400mm lens . Here is one at PF of my C8 . This is widest field possible through a C8 . If you get one with the 400mm len be sure and post it so I can compare !

Wow Ron, I'm having to dig deep too. One of the 1st objects I shot. I still remember saying "Cool!" when I saw it on the screen.
