I took this image in 2006 . Many times I have commented on images of moons that many have posted here in the moon thread and many times I have mentioned how I like brighter images of the moon to portray the more common true look of the moon . This is the brightness I like to portray to my likings . This was between 99%-100% full . The way you can tell is the bright edge on the far right edge which is a very thin bright edge and on the left side craters are still visible with good detail . Many post images of a much darker moon to bring out more detail and that's fine and to their preference but to me it takes away the true detail of what the moon really looks like . Hope you enjoy !
