Thanks Jai. Is this a Canon lens or another brand? Normally this should not be an issue - just pop the lens on and go. What exactly is the camera not doing? Are you getting error codes, is it not auto-focusing, is it metering improperly or not at all? Please give us some more info so we can do a better job of helping GEAR LIST

It is Canon EF 300 mm F/2.8 L II lens. Attach it with camera and click but no image is taken nor any error message is flashed .

Mar 12, 2016 13:45 | #7 I have had a similar issue when using off brand Fotodiox tubes on occasion. I usually just remount and it takes off. I would check to make sure you are getting a good mount with solid click and clean the contacts. Yes it worked normally with other lens, the 70-300 L . The EF 300mm F/2.8 L is a new lens which I use on my 6D . I wanted to test it on 7d MkII but it didn't work.
