Critique on first website?

Hey everyone,

I just finished and uploaded my first website.

I'm at the very start of presenting myself as a photographer and therefore it's not very business minded (yet) nor have I figured out in what direction I would like to develop myself (thinking architecture right now).

Although I would like some honest feedback on how it looks/feels/works.

nice clean layout, but maybe too clean. I expect to read something about the photography I am viewing. At the very least, I think something needs to be said on the home page

Drop-down delay is too long.
Home page needs something. An introduction, a story, or business info.

Your single-column images with just 479px div width is obnoxiously tiny on 1440, and annoying on 1080.

What do you mean by drop down delay?

I kind of agree with the comment about the images size, but didn't see another way to present them in a way where it is all and only about the images. Would a slideshow be better?

Put 2 images side by side.

When you put your cursor over the navigation element, there's a long delay before it expands and shows the sub options.

I'm still in the process of (very slowly) getting my website the way I want it.

At the moment I've opted for a one-page website.

I'll be looking to expand it in the future, but since I can't have an empty domain I put something temporarily up.

All comments and critiques are welcome!

Your design is kind of popular, but I'll say: there's almost no content on the initially-visible home page; I almost left immediately.

And here I was, thinking I did something original.

Thanks for your feedback! I see you suggested something similar to my earlier design. I will look into it.

I've done a complete overhaul on my website, again.

Do any of you guys have some more feedback?
