Anyone ever use the Blimp? Is it worth the 300 dollar price tag?

Yes, have a Rode Blimp V1, use it. Yes, well worth it in comparison to the $500+ blimps.

The Rode blimp is not quite as light, is half-ish the price of common competitors, and is nicely configured - you don't need anything more out of the box. The Rycote lyre suspension Rode moved to in the V2 blimp is really quite nice.

The NTG2 short shotgun is one of the best values out there, good sound for a good price.

H6 is a little harder to get good results with. I don't own one, but every time I pick one up it's gonna take 5 or 10 more minutes than I want to drill down to commonly needed functions.
