I'm wondering bare bulb like the 360? but 200 would be kinda redundant stuck between the 180 and 360. hmmm....

If only they'd do a CL360 with the battery attached... YUMMMMMMM!!!

Hey - does your AD360 / CL360 / Streaklight 360 have a serial number? If so, where?

Thanks.

Owen.

Who are you asking?

Then maybe it's a barebulb on-camera flash with integrated Lithium battery ;-)a I don't have use for such a product but I can see the appeal.

Yah...that would have been nice. But I don't mind the small inconvenience of the external pack for these great lights. I love 'em! :)

I think you're right with that. It may be something as the Meidike Yidoblo X-6:

Also is there the Polaroid PL-135/Triopo TR-120/Sunpak 120J II:

Yes, basically CL200x (AD200?) could be a mini version of the AD600 with a hotshoe for on-camera use.

Sorry. Anyone. I wasn't able to find a serial on mine while trying to register it at the Can / US border. Neither was the customs agent.

People all over this world have been searching and no one found it till now. So you can rest assure them that the only difference is the silkscreened name/type on the outside of the flash itself.

Then you have still not a unique reference for that flash.

I just updated my X1C, 360IIC, and 685C to the latest firmware from Godox's website.
Now I have problems with the Canon 1DxII. It seemed to work before the update, but I wanted group mode on the 685.

The problem is with ttl mode using the x1t and 685 as the trigger for the 360IIC.
The 360IIC will overexpose the image by over a stop and does nothing different when you change the expoure comp. It still fires at the same power.
Problem is occuring in group mode and in regular remote ttl mode.
This is using 360IIC v2.6, X1C v14, and 685C v3.0

This is a step in the wrong direction. Guess it back to using a 600RT and a Lasso on the 360.

Scott,
Any word on when the Sony version of the 360X (AD360II) will be released?

You know you can use any new 360 and fire with the Sony X1 in full manual or TTL. ;)

I think I have found a bug with the X1TC and v.14 firmware. I would appreciate it if others with the affected equipment could try to replicate it. If this has already been tracked / discussed, my apologies.

Equipment:

X1TC, 4 units; one direct from China, two from Amazon, one recent arrival from Adorama.
AD360 (Streaklight)
XTR16

Conditions:

X1TC in Gr mode.

In short, V.14 seems to have broken the ability for the X1TC to turn the OFF the power on an AD360.

- The V.14 X1TC can change power levels on the AD360 works fine.
- The V.14 X1TC can change power levels, modes and ON/OFF on other X1 system flashes (TT685, AD600), but
- The V.14 X1TC can NOT turn the power OFF on the AD360 / XTR16 combo.

I first noted this behaviour while using a V.14 X1TC unit received recently with my AD600. I then tried each of my other three X1TC units, all of which were still at V.13. All of them were able to turn the AD360's power OFF.

I then downgraded the new X1TC to V.13, and the failure / bug went away.

I also tried using my TT685 as a Master, and it could turn the power OFF on the AD360. So, so far the issue seems tied to the X1TC with V.14 firmware.

If anyone else has an AD360, XTR16 and v.14 X1TC - can you turn the power OFF on the AD360? If yes, could you please outline what your Custom Functions are set to?

Thanks!

Owen.

I know.
People have been asking about a version of the 360II that will support Sony optical and have a Multi-Function Hot foot.
I can understand why Godox is reluctant to build the Sony base. its a fragile plastic foot and easy to break, without the weight of a 300 on top.

I just tried the X1-S on my Sony A7

With V860 for Canon & X1 receiver :
-M mode works ok
-TTL mode works but adding and substracting flash exp compensation has no effects
-HSS works ok and automatically above sync speed up to 1/8000, no banding

With V860 for Canon and XTR16s :
-M mode works ok
-HSS works ok like above (you have to turn on HSS mode on the flash)

With AD360 II for Canon :
-M mode works ok
-TTL mode works but adding and substracting flash exp compensation has no effects
-HSS works ok and automatically above sync speed up to 1/8000, no banding

With TT685 for Sony
-M mode and TTL mode works ok including flash exposure compensation

Since I dont need TTL mode, I end up buying X1s for my A7, XTR16 for my old AD360 and XTR16s for my V860 Canon :)
My AD360 II needs no additional receiver.
