Can anyone confirm with 100% certainty that the Yongnuo YNE3-RX receiver will work with the Canon ST-E3-RT transmitter?

I just picked up a couple of YNE3-RX receivers, and I was advised that they work with the ST-E3-RT transmitter in theory. I was also told I could return them if they didn't work.

The packaging on the receivers is pretty tight, and I'm afraid of wrecking the boxes: which could make returning them more difficult if they don't work. I'd like a little more confidence than what "in theory" instills before opening them up.

Hi Shelley.

Yes, the ST-E3-RT works with the YNE3-RX receivers. So far, Yongnuo's Canon-RF system compatibility seems to be excellent. Their triggers (YN-E3-RT) are actually better than the original Canon units, as they add AF assist, and increased compatibility with pre-2012 bodies.

Owen.
