Whats up with the shadow in the cloud? It looks like the shadow of a B-25, definitely not a T-38 shadow.

I see 2 shadows there. One from the T-38 (behind) and another from what I presume is the photo plane.

The railroad bridge looks like the Colorado river between Llano and Burnet. Love the lighting, sharpness, and prop blur.

Thank you. Yes, the first one is Enchanted Rock. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the lighting, with the sun being behind him, but it worked out. We took off at sunrise from Fredericksburg and flew toward Llano, then turned East and did some shots over Lake Buchanan.

The railroad bridge is near Hearne. I will now be looking for one between Llano and Burnet though! They always make a good backdrop. I was trying to get pictures of him coming over the bridge in Llano, but due to the speed mismatch between our planes, I didn't want to circle back after we missed it.

The photo plane I was using is a Cessna 170. It works for most planes. I was worried about the difference in performance on this one, but he did a great job of slowing down.

Nice! I'm supposed to shoot a glider soon. It'll be a challenge in Central Texas. I've been up twice for rides and they don't stay up long like they do in the mountains.

I got the cover shot on the magazine of one of the largest aviation associations in the world! I also got quite a few photos inside the magazine. Pretty cool day for me!

Thank you! These photos were taken at Airventure 2017 when the EAA invited me to come work as a volunteer photographer for the first time. They've invited me back for 2018 and I'm pretty excited about it!
