In this video I am using a 4 light set up.

The two main lights are Paul C Buff Einstein e640's with the upper light using a Paul Buff 64" Soft Silver PLM with diffusion.

The lower light is a Mola Demi White 22 inch beauty dish with diffusion.

The 2 rear lights are Alien Bee 800's with medium soft boxes with grids for more control of the light.

Triggered by the Paul C Buff Cyber Sync system.

Shot on the Nikon D810 with the Nikon 85mm F 1.4 G at F4.

you have a nice friendly voice. ...thumbs up. :-)

Just an observation. Don't you think the Mola (for what it is worth) is overkill to use as just a fill?

Thanks,

No, I have the Mola Demi anyway and I find it is just the right amount of fill when I am using a larger key light.

Have you ever tried switching the softlighter and the Mola Demi?

That is a great idea.

I'm definitely going to try that.

64" PLM is a big modifier to try to use as an under light in a clam shell setup like the one shown.

I actually tried it years ago and it's pretty cool. Soft fill and a harder and contrasty light as key with a beauty dish(not a Mola). Good for in studio fashion lookbooks and beauty work.
