How do I capture a sequence of action, similar to the following? I can use flash and the continuous shooting mode on the camera to capture 3-4 frames out of the 20+ frames below. I wonder if it was shot in bulb mode, and flash continuously? But I dont think my canon flash can emit light 10 times in a second, or can it?

I don't know if it solves your problem, but the Canon 550EX, 580EX and 580EX II can fire 10 shots in one second. There are some power issues, but it does work. I don't think any of the 2xx, 3xx or 4xx series can do that. BTW, it is called stoboscopic flash.

Yes you are right. I totally forgot about this feature. I have 3 flashes so I can keep the output power low and push them to the max # of flashes per second.
