I shot a bellydance event the other week, which had absolutely terrible lighting and still got tons of usable shots, in fact only a few had misfocus. However, I must admit I had the 580ex on cam (set not to fire) to aid the focusing. The rest of the shots can be seen here Pradeep (but most people call me PJ)
