Actullay, I'm finding that I like primes more, I want the Sigmalux. I know I need a medium zoom lens for versatility, but for now I want that lens more than the Tamron that I never take out the bag.

I can see that you're becoming a prime addict!...don't blame you I guess! The Sigmalux is brilliant, from what I have seen in the samples thread and I'm itching to get it too!! But I still think improvements in my lighting would suit me more than a new lens...unless its a UWA which I'm currently missing.

Good luck with your decision!

True about the lighting, I recently purchased a strobist kit to step up my lighting game, but dude, I still want that Sigmalux :) Thanks for the well wishes.

Thanks!

I guess you're upgrading to the 24-70L?...I couldn't think of another reason to sell it! ;)

Pridash, thats what i just did. I loved the tammy but the L is breaze of fresh air. Dont know if i should sell the tammy or keep it as a back up. I almost feel like i betrayed it. But i might just sell it. Its in prestine condition with over a year left of BH insurance on it.

I got a really good deal on it but the biggest improvement is the focusing of the lense. I love the tammy and its my first recomended piece of glass to anyone who asks what should be thier first purchase beyond kit. However, i shoot in low light (i know i can use flash but some places dont allow for it, and im also not a flash person) quite often and it tended to hunt. That was my only complaint. When i switched to the 24-70 the lock was super quick. And just to compare i used both the tammy and the 24-70 at the nets game last night. Where the Tammy hunted the 24 locked in quick. Again not bashing the lense at all. Im the first to tell you its an awesome piece, great IQ! and very light! all at a bargain price level :)
