got these at North Creek Park in Bothell this afternoon. the wrens were building a nest in some dead reeds about 10 feet from the boardwalk, so these were all taken from about 15 feet or less. the first shot is full-frame, uncropped; i backed off the zoom a bit for the rest to give me some room to crop for composition, but none are cropped more than about 20%.

Great set Rocky.

thanks, guys! i was tickled to be able to get such close shots of this little guy... normally, they pop up on a cattail 40 feet away, and disappear back down into the reeds before i get the lens on 'em, or else they're so far away that even with a 600 i can't get a really good shot.
