I have not posted a query here for ages, because I know everything now. (Har har)

The other day, I kicked off Adobe bridge (I have the CC suite but have no full competence with things like lightroom, Photoshop/Bridge ok-ish) I use bridge for quick reviews etc.

One thing I noticed was that I cannot find anywhere in the tags section that tells me what lighting I shot the pic in, such as Tungsten flash daylight etc.

I can see file values in both RAW and ~JPG, I can see metering mode aperture/speed whether the flash fired, lens type MM settings used, what I cannot see is the lighting setting.

Anyone know if Bridge does show this value?

Thanks in adv,

I just looked through my version of Bridge which I am using with CS5 and I cannot see anything that will provide that value.

While in BRIDGE, if you go to EDIT => PREFERENCES => THUMBNAILS you will be presented with the following menu that gives you the option of displaying four types of data. For my own workflow I prefer to see the Date I took the picture, the exposure (which will show me shutter speed, aperture and ISO), focal length of the lens used, and the file size of the image.

This is the most recent CC update. Under "Filter" if you scroll all the way down, you'll see the white balance filters.

If you can't see the filter pane, you can bring it up under the "Window" Options.

If, for some reason, you don't have "White Balance" under there . . . I don't know what to suggest.

Thanks for the replies (so far) I looked at both.
sapearl, thanks but that did not clarify things, worth a try...

Neacail I can see the same options on my CC version, unfortunately I do not see the white balance heading. Even if I right click and click to select it.
Right clicking in the filter panel shows me more items in the list than there are actually displayed which is odd.

I'll try Mr Google, or raise an Adobe question, heaven knows I pay them enough each month.

Will post updates if I get an definitive answers in case any other users have problems.
Thanks all.

I found the place where you can add it. :)

Look just to the right of the "Filter" tab. Can you see the little downward pointing arrow with the lines beside it? Click on that. It should be there in Windows if you're on a PC. Make sure "White Balance" is checked.

I just learned something new this morning.

Edit: Oops. I just re-read your post. You tried that and it didn't work. :(

Spoke to Mr Google, found this link helpx.adobe.com/bridge/using/metadata-adobe-bridge.html

This mentions the Meta data placard, according to the page I 'should' see all of those values as icons, not so far... I can see some of them, Still tweaking though.
