Do all cameras do this? Is this something only attributed to the 1Div ???
Regardless, this is also posted up in the 1D mark IV thread but knowing so few go there I wanted this elsewhere.
For some time the kind folks here at POTN have tried (in vain due to my mentality/lack thereof) to teach me how to do the ROF
with the 1Div. I never could get it. Huge efforts by many especially Graham over in the UK. Jake had written it up several times
but the last time he wrote it up and I gave the set up a go it clicked=literally!!!! Suddenly I have the ROF, something I'd buy the
1Div for if for no other reason.
Well I set it up per Jake's written instructions after getting off this morning...I was worn out after a long night in the hospital but
suddenly it worked!! So after bit of a nap I had to go outside and give it a go. In a word to me just amazing.
The first shot just one of 10 that I got with the hawk in the ROF, and the second pic processed.
So Jake if you lived closer or if I ever get in your vicinity the beer is on me !!!

Huh? Could you please elaborate more on this ROF? It sounds interesting. I know I can use the search function to wade through the forum. However, you seem to specifically mention one particular discussion/write-up that works for you. Maybe that could save me (and others) some time, too.
Thanks.

*** UPDATE: Please ignore the request. I found it. Post #4812 on https://photography-on-the.net …ead.php?t=809332&page=321 ***

OK good you found it.
I'm asking anyone and everyone. I'd like to set up the same 'all focus points' Hail Mary on my
7Dii via the DOF preview button.
If anybody has an exact (and I mean exact do to my age limitations) I'd most sincerely
appreciate it.
