I have all my event photos that I share on Google photos. Today, I looked through the people search tool. And it is nothing short of spectacular. No comparison with the really slow witted face recognition implemented in Lightroom 6. Right from the begin with zero training almost all pictures are attributed correctly - I've only seen very few mistakes. And not just the easy one - also in bad light and not facing the camera and in a group. I am very impressed and slightly frighten - as it makes it blatantly clear that they now can find you reliably in any picture on the web or anywhere else. And I sincerely wish that LR would catch up - as it would make finding people in my collection so much easier then now.
