I've posted a couple of heron pics from today on the POTN Birds thread, but I'd like my friends here on the 80D section to see this one of a grebe who's been fishing. Quite a heavy crop.

I"ve had the camera for six months now and have liked if for the most part. I would have liked to had a real chance during the summer to try its autofocusing capabilities in good light with birds in flight particularly Swifts and Swallows etc., but I live in the north of England so.... Anyway, a couple from recent times when the sun did shine.

now on my second 80D after a few months with a used 1D4 ended with the camera going tits up and having a full refund issued .so I decided to go back to the 80D again . heres a couple of short eared owl shots for tasters
