My Canon 40, Sigma 17-50 and Canon 400 didn't need to be adjusted. But the Canon 70-200 needed -1 at 70 and -12 at 200. I'm not surprised though since the focus was always way off with it on my 60D. I'm just about to watch a few videos about the AF modes and then go out and try to get a few bird photos around the yard. Dec 09, 2017 15:43 | #1943 I found that lens to be disappointing. Sharp enough but af was horrible as in didnt even search unless i was already close manually. Returned and saving for a 7D3! I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather.

I just have an $800 start on saving for one is all. Plus if im honest with myself, ill rarely shoot at 400 anyway so no sense in getting canon's 100-400. Which was my original intent. FL-Sean Member 130 posts Likes: 1657 Joined Nov 2017 More info | I'm getting similar results with the AF system on my 80D,I'm sure some of my issues are my fault...but I got a lot more keeper's with my T6i using the same 300mm f4
