My Canon 40, Sigma 17-50 and Canon 400 didn't need to be adjusted. But the Canon 70-200 needed -1 at 70 and -12 at 200. I'm not surprised though since the focus was always way off with it on my 60D. I'm just about to watch a few videos about the AF modes and then go out and try to get a few bird photos around the yard. Canon R5 - Canon RF24-105L F4, Canon 40mm, Canon 70-200L F4 (non-IS), Canon 100-400ii, 1.4xiii

Dec 09, 2017 15:43 | #1943 I found that lens to be disappointing. Sharp enough but af was horrible as in didnt even search unless i was already close manually. Returned and saving for a 7D3! I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather.

I just have an $800 start on saving for one is all. Plus if im honest with myself, ill rarely shoot at 400 anyway so no sense in getting canon's 100-400. Which was my original intent. I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather.
