Photographers are violent people, first they frame you, then they shoot you and after that they hang you on the wall.

Not a kingfisher or grebe to be seen on the lake this morning, so I came back with this. At least he (or she?) is colourful :-P

We finally had some decent weather again today. Not for long though, as the sun quickly vanished under the cloud cover
I'm so sick of gloomy, overcast days vmad

Looks like spring is finally arriving:

Well, I'm back in the game. Picked up a refurbed 80D to replace my drowned one. No I'm really struggling to determine what lens I want. I do a mostly nature/wildlife and then when the airshows come I make sure to go and get shots from there. I'm considering either a 70-200 with a 2x tc or a 100-400 with a 1.4x tc. I can't afford the canon lenses so I've been looking at the Tamron versions of these.

If anyone has any experience with the Tamron combinations on their 80D, I'd love to hear about them.

Thanks everyone.

After going a year without a crop body (I killed my 70d last year) I finally broke down and got my 6d a sibling in the 80d yesterday. Took it for a spin yesterday and loved the feel of it. Had to hunt for some of my crop-only lenses but I think we're good to go.
