Tried to get artsy with the editing. Not sure the "style" but I know I've seen similar edits. Like subtle color or something?

I like it, but on my iPad it looks like the skin tone has picked up the pinkish hue from the umbrella. Maybe a separate layer and adjust the WB on the skin?

I noticed that too. I thought I had fixed it. It's very obvious in the unedited raw file

Hello everyone,

I love all the pictures going on here! Beautiful.

So I just got myself a 80D and I am loving it.

Still working on edits though.

What do you think of my little puppy?

Hope you all had a great easter.

Best regards,
Karl

Welcome to the 80D club!
Nice puppy shots, and very sharp! What lens did you use?

Thank you Michael!

I used the 18-135 USM Lens. I really like it. Not ideal for portrait I guess but it works for sure.

nice puppy shots!

Photographers are violent people, first they frame you, then they shoot you and after that they hang you on the wall.

As it is sharp enough for the puppy, it should be fine for portraits. Have a try! ;-)a

I missed focus on this one, unfortunately, but I still like the "pose" of the bee:

F11: Noted!

Nice work! Used that lens for a bit several years ago and it still seems like it's the sharpest of all in the Canon lineup

Thanks! IMO, for macros f11 is often the best compromise between getting maximum DOF and avoiding diffraction.
