Beautiful, sharp close-up.

Thank you. 400mm is a bit long for the zoo. But, it has its advantages!

Cool video! The colors created by the sunset are stunning!

Thanks!

We've had some good ones lately with all the firesmoke!

Charles, I completely agree with you. The dynamic range of this camera is truly amazing. My only problem is that I'm constantly switching back and forth between my 7DII and my 80D. The controls on the back of the two cameras are quite different from one another, and I'm constantly getting them mixed up. :-( I love both cameras, so I guess I just have to put up with it. :-)

Cannot wait for 7dIII!!!!

Beautiful! Judging by the alternate exhaust pipe under the doors, there's a lot more horsepower under the hood than when the Merc left the factory.

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

Cool!! I sure remember that car. My Dad had the same one (I think it was the same model) when I was a kid. I remember the electric rear window in one of the models.

Haven't had a 100-400 II for a few months now, and in it's place I've been using my 70-200 f/2.8 II + 1.4/2.0. Versatile as anything, but still miss the 100-400.

You're the owl guy, for sure. How are you managing to get so close? I average about 1 owl photo per year, and that's only by luck. They spot me coming from a week away.
