well... the barrage of images from the 100-400 here, combined with Facebook marketplace ads pushed me over the edge. Picked up my (new to me) 100-400 II and 1.4 III extender yesterday. Hope to one day be worthy of posting some shots on here from it.

I bet you won't regret that purchase! That lens is incredible.

I second what Michael says. The 100-400 is superb. With the 1.4 extender it gives great reach, too. You'll love it.

White-crowned Sparrow? It's been a while since shooting any wildlife but I was able to do some in Rocky Mountain NP.

Beautiful car! Back in the 1960's I delivered newspapers to about 85 customers in the little town of Silver Lake, Ohio. One of my customers had one of these cars. It was a bit too long for their garage, so they intentionally pushed the front bumper "bullets" through the drywall in the front of the garage. Then it fit with just a couple of inches to spare. The owners were an older retired couple, but they sure enjoyed drives in their Caddy.

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

That’s too funny about not fitting. But yes this thing is big. It’s on bags also, if you look you can see it sitting on the ground
