I lucked out on that one! The owl actually was below the center point only on the 80d, which, I may be alone on this theory, but I've noticed the center-point actually covers an area just outside of it slightly, unlike the 5dIV, where if that point is not EXACTLY on your target, you're SOL. I never really had great results on either camera body trying for the cluster of 5 points around the center. Either way, sometimes you just luck out, and this one I happen to have the owls wing tips and body spanning the entire frame with JUST enough room to crop it and put it in the center from top to bottom. 5044x2837 (14.3mp post crop), still enough for a decent print for average viewing distances.
