Blake C,
Well done! In the hands of a skilled photographer using good shooting technique the 80D is very capable, especially so when mated with good glass. Thanks for sharing!

Ive had a got a BIF with my 70-200 f/4. Not the ideal lens for this but im very impressed with the results. I dont know why, but i find it easier than when using my 5Dmkiii.

And im absolutely loving my new EF-S 10-18. Funny but its taken me until getting a crop camera to get a WA lens.

Finally snapped a nice, sharp macro shot using the 80D. The image is so clean, the editing latitude is great.

Yes, Servo all the way! I did tweak the servo settings tho. I adjust the tracking, target lock, etc. I'd have to look at it to see exactly what my values are. I would recommend at least looking at all of the values in the menu and reading about them. There is a short description in camera when you are changing setting that should help.

I too would be interested in your settings for tracking, lock etc. I am trying to photograph my g-children playing sport, gosh they move fast :-)

I saw that hawks are nesting in a steeple of a nearby town. Trying to get a shot made me realize that sometimes 560mm aren't all that much... I had to crop this one quite a bit.

Pekka, can we add the 80D to the gear list so we can properly tag the photos? Thanks! :)

Well, I'm finally a true believer... this camera delivers. I'm finding that lower ISO + decent shutter speed is highly important with this particular camera. Much more challenging to shoot optimally vs. my 5D3, but the image quality is every bit as good. LOVE IT!
