Got mine from Canon Refurbished and it also didn't come with a USB cable or in an 80D box. It actually came in a Powershot box - I was a bit worried they sent the wrong camera until I opened it and found the 80D and lens just like I ordered. The condition is absolutely perfect, I couldn't be happier with it!

Just opened up a new 80D for the wife & took it out back last night before the sun went down.

First impressions are very positive. It does seem to be more responsive than my old 70D, although I have become used to the customizability (if that's a word) of my 7DII & 1DX and personally prefer their ergonomics. That said, I believe this is gonna be a keeper and it will suit her well as her 1st DSLR.

Having seen so many outstanding photos in this thread, I am not at all surprised by the image quality - especially for right out of the box. The size & weight sure are pleasant. :)

starting my day off with a nice cup of coffee..

sometimes when I look at the 80d .. it looks too big (gotten a bit used to mirrorless)
but then once in hand , it feels just right.. well atleast with the lenses I have at the moment.

last time I was with canon I had the 24-70 2.8 II, and was acquiring the non L primes..
I think I want to do it the other way around ,, get a used 24-105 f4..and let the primes be fast 1.4's
thinking for now..
24-105 f4
24mm f1.4
50mm f1.2
(for a nice 35 / 85 like combo (Full frame equivalient))
:-)
I have a 10-18 for super wide.. for now atleast

who knows ,
on to my coffee for now .. its getting cold;-)a

Ha ha. I love this lens. I had the 1.4X III extender on for the bird pic above, too. It was high and far away, so a fairly heavy crop, too.

First outing with the 80D. I think I'm going to like it.
