Why did you go with such a slow shutter?

I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather.

I would normally preset as I had just changed lenses but this guy landed and I popped the shot before he scooted off. Then I looked at my settings... darn! Then he was gone.

Man those are sharp. I think there is something wrong with my new Sigma 17-50mm lens. My previous copy with 70d was producing much better results in terms of sharpness and color.

Busy sky Last Night ..

Also caught a time lapse using the built in time lapse feature .. nice option for when you don't want to do all the work of a traditional time lapse

I don't have that fancy 100-400, I do however have the fancy 70-200. Serves me quite well for the most part. This lens is stupid sharp. At least to my untrained eye. Aside from birds, I usually have plenty of reach. Sadly, the only real "wildlife" around here is squirrels and ugly ass canadian geese. With the occasional mallard duck.

Was in Nairobi National Park on Monday and followed these 3 lionesses and anticipated a kill. Happened right next to my car...a few shots in sequence to share...they then went and brought their cubs to the feast. Enjoy!
