Canon 70D plus my new Sigma 105mm (OS version) and 30mm extension tube. I've found the hand-held focus 'hit-rate' a lot higher with the new OS version over the old 105mm non OS lens even with a 30mm tube attached. Compositions are easier to maintain too with a steadier viewfinder image, which is a godsend!

Brilliant, it's so perfect that I'm struggling to believe they're not CGI created! Well done sir!

Thanks, but there is no computer graphic wizardry going on here. I've attached a set-up shot, the magic ingredient is the base that the glass bowl is sitting on. Its a sheet of 'frosted' perspex, this diffuses the light from the flashguns plus makes the background pre-printed sheet out-of-focus to the camera which gives the nice smooth, graduated tones. Moving the background sheet less than an inch completely changes the colour scheme. I use Johnson's baby oil because it is totally clear without any hue, unlike rape seed or olive oil which has a warm tint to it.

A view from Adobe Lightroom, some RAW images have been processed, some haven't.
