Of course, if your subject is backlit, you have to have something to light them up as their faces are dark. I thought it was now illegal everywhere to photograph on tracks??? Anyhow, lots of interesting things to look at in the photo. I see the meaning as two lives(tracks) coming together as one. Cool

Mar 30, 2016 18:53 | #4 I agree with the other comments. I like your first image. Both images can be improved with processing. I rarely trash my "fail" photos, and I have plenty. Over the years, as I have gotten better at processing, I sometimes revisit my fails and come up with something I like. Shoot raw and save them then go thru them from time to time. If they are obvious fails like ,out of focus, blown beyond saving or blocked up, then trash. If these are your first shots, they are better than my firsts.

Apr 01, 2016 01:27 | #7 The first one needed some fill light, but I really liked all the geometry going on in that shot - not just the obvious leading lines. And there's something of a story there as the man & woman's tracks either diverge or converge, depending on which point of view you choose.
