At my last two weddings I've had been absolutely stuffed without a 16mm lens on full frame. First one the lovely outdoor venue was too windy so they moved into a room about 2m wide - like sardines - so I had to be close to the big wedding party in this tiny room. Next one was in a bigger church, but I needed the wide view. Professional wedding photographer, solution architect and general technical guy with multiple Amazon Web Services certifications.
