They are going through mating season hereabouts and are possibly less wary....this male was beckoning to a nearby female and vice versa....just like people!

Nice set. I wish the male harrier shows up during daylight in a local natural resource in our area for some reason he does arrived way after sunset when there is little light left for the day.

Hello Peter and many thanks for commenting....I would assume these hawks are breeding in your area as well.....and so are active in calling to each other....they should be
seeking each other out and calling in whistles.....perhaps near the area you frequent?
