Yes, the bottom one is a very early version and is a bit underexposed. But does the blue sky version look too edited? The orange sky version is more like what I actually saw.

Orange.

Plus a smidgen of straightening.

I'd like to see the exposure on the car somewhere between those two. A darker sky will also make the car stand out more. Take a look at this example: https://photography-on-the.net …hp?p=2415343&postcount=30
The gray bar at the center is the same density all the way across.

FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...

Find the light... A few Car Lighting Tips, and MOVE YOUR FEET!
Have you thought about making your own book? // Need an exposure crutch?
New Image Size Limits: Image must not exceed 1600 pixels on any side.

Darkened the background, did some more touchups:

That looks much better. Now try it without the guardrail & see how you like that.

The straightening made a huge improvement. But the upper part of the sky is still blue.
Also, I would like to point out that the orange part of the sky looks unnatural; as if it was saturated way beyond what it really looked like.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I wrestled between the blue and the Orange. The orange part of the sky, however is actually how orange it was. We get very orange and purple sunsets in LA.

Kinda screws up the thread when you remove pictures.

Yes, it does.

But that is an inherent problem with using linked images, instead of using attached images that are hosted by the forum's server.
Whenever someone tries to "clean up" or re-organize their Flickr photo stream, it screws up a bunch f threads here on POTN. Especially the old threads.
Posting all images as attachments ensures that the photos will remain in the thread forever (as they should).

Which is supposed to be limited to 2 per THREAD, unless someone requests more images. (Often ignored rule.)

Yeah I'm still new to using Flickr this way. I'll be sure to attach files instead next time.
