Hi everyone,

I'd like to fit my 600 in a pelican case and the 1510 is about the right external size that I'd like to go and the internal looks like it should fit, I also have a lenscoat travel coat on the 600 which adds a little bulk.

Just wanted to see if anyone has experience fitting a 600 f4 IS into the 1510 and how it went?

I have one with my 400 F/2.8 non IS and 1d3 attached. I don't have a hood on mine but the front of the lens is 6 1/2 inches plus lenscoat neoprene cap and I don't think I would go much bigger in diameter, mine is compressing the top foam about 1 inch at the highest point.

Thanks, looks like I'm close to 7.5" with a lenscoat travel coat on. Do you have both top and bottom foam in?

I'm guessing that'll be a tight squeeze with the foam because internal height is 7.6" per B&H. I have this case but don't have a 600mm to test.

I have the top foam. I have what looks to be the 1514 bottom probably 1/2 inch thick or less with no dividers.
