I have a couple of lenses with fungus on the inner elements. Are they u/s or repairable.

How bad is it? You can probably stop the spread by storing the lenses in a bag with silica gell that flower shops use for drying flowers.
I've read that Canon won't touch them. And IF you can find somewhere to clean the elements, I expect that it will be expensive.

To bad there is not some kind of micro bug that will eat the fungus.
I know there is some Microb that eats petroleum .

If we had a fuel or oil spill on the mine site we would dig up the contaminated dirt spread the dirt out in this special section and put these Micro bugs on the dirt that ate the oil .
