White Ibis use their highly sensitive bills to forge for food hiding in the sand and marsh mud. Have to be quick when they find something, they waste no time gobbling it up. There are plenty of Fiddler Crabs at this location so these Ibis had a lot of success. When I shoot this spot at low tide I'm usually surrounded by hundreds of Fiddlers crawling out to socialize. Every once in a while one will give me a pinch.
