We had our first referral booking today. The person who referred us is a couple that we have booked to shoot their wedding in July. What do you or would you do as a thank you? We are thinking giving them a print credit as a thank you.

Whatever you do think it through as if it gets out you offer prints / discounts for referals everyone that does it will expect it, which is fine and can be a good motivator as long as thats your intention.

I would think they would not expect anything for referring someone to you other then a thank you. They refer you because they like you.

We understand that but we also like to show our appreciation. We have settled on print credit they can use after their wedding. Nothing to wild but enough to cover a canvas print or a couple paper prints.
