There are 2 potential solutions - 1. if they are yours, then anticipating the direction of your shot and approaching from the other direction (also good to think about in sand dunes), 2. use PS to clone them out. I think making the composition a bit less balanced creates something a bit more unique. The goal is not to change your subjects, but for the subject to change the photographer.
